Admittedly, up until very recently I wasn't a huge eye serum/cream/balm devotee. I've never met a product that was a match for my dark under eye area. Lucky for me (I guess) that was really my only issue. And then the puffiness and dryness set in. That's when I gave all of those eye goodies I had piling up a second look. Slow and steady I actually began incorporating them into my routine and lo and behold, the dryness disappeared and the puffiness subsided. So it turns out, these products actually do something! Consider me a convert. So which products have me smitten? Two in fact - a luxurious serum and a cushy balm. I apply two drops of Odacite Baobab + Sarsaparilla Serum Concentrate in the morning and a generous layer of Laurel Eye Balm at night. The Odacite serum features an amazing roster of essential oils, including sarsaparilla, lavender, neroli, and palmarosa to combat wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles. And the Laurel Eye Balm contains an herbal infusion of bilberry, fennel, licorice, and nettle to brighten and de-puff. More importantly, the soft, silky texture is incredible - it smooths effortlessly over the eye area without tugging or pulling the delicate skin.
This combination is a winner for me. And I'm willing to admit that eye serums and balms are an investment in the longterm. I can't believe it took me this long to discover these two!

Hmmm, I haven't tried anything from Odacite or Laurel yet. Which one would your recommend to start with? Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteI've been testing out one of the Odacite sample set and I love everything! Know I'm also really curious about this eye serums, sounds wonderful! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat review! Haven't yet tried Odacite - but Laurel's eye balm is the best eye product I've tried yet to date. Very soothing, great for puffiness and fine lines. And the company itself has a level of integrity that I have never experienced with a skin care line. I can't think of one product I've tried in her line that I havent just love. Something, until now, I didn't think was possible with any line.
ReplyDeleteMy current favorites are the Anti-inflammatory serum, Night Balm, California body oil, Honey Berry mask, and of course the eye balm.
