I am heading down to Springfield, MO this weekend for a family wedding, which I couldn't be happier about because it combines two of my favorite things - weddings (well wedding cake really) and packing. Packing really feeds my inner organization nut. Plus, I generally take it as an opportunity to try a few new things that aren't part of my daily routine. Here's what I am bringing -
Skincare:
- Sodashi Clay Cleanser with Sandalwood - doing double duty this weekend as a gentle morning cleanser and effective evening makeup remover
- SW Basics Toner - this is doing wonders for my stressed out skin (where has this toner been all my life?!)*
- de Mamiel Spring Facial Oil - using this morning and night to gently ease my skin into Spring (or maybe to lessen the mental blow that it is still clearly winter in Chicago)
- Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer - my everyday must-have
- Pai Chamomile and Rosehip Moisturizer and Macadamia and Rose Moisturizer - test driving a few samples from Pai this weekend in place of my usual night cream
- Soapwalla Deodorant - because there is a possibility I might get out on the dance floor (slight possibility)
- La Bella Figura Decouverte Under Eye Repair Serum (not pictured) - this is definitely an essential anytime the night might involve alcohol (seriously helps with post-booze puffiness)
Fragrance:
- La Bella Figura Paris Perfume Oil - this is my all-time favorite perfume EVER! Completely intoxicating. I wear it every day and can't be without it.
Makeup:
- RMS Beauty "Un" Powder and "Un" Cover-Up - these are my basics and I am completely in love with both of them
- W3LL Universalist #2 - This is one of my absolute favorite highlighters because it provides a realistic glow without any telltale streaks
- Ilia Multi-Stick in Tenderly - this provides the perfect barely-there flush when you plan on rocking a bold lip or smoky eye
- Ilia Mascara in Nightfall - I am breaking this bad boy open for the first time this weekend and can't wait to see how it looks!*
- Ilia Lipstick in Neon Angel (not pictured) - kind of excited that my lips will match my shoes, not gonna lie
- Kjaer Weis Eye Shadow in Cloud Nine (not pictured) - testing this for the first time as well and I have no doubt in my mind that it will look unbelievably gorgeous
*reviews coming soon
